WorkspaceSwitcher
The top of the sidebar: which app this is, and a menu of what applies to all of it. In the rail it shows the name's initial alone.
| Prop | Type | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
name | string | — | The app's name. |
wordmark? | ReactNode | — | The app's subbrand, a decorative Wordmark, shown in place of the name. The brand is typographic, so there is no icon: in the rail the name's initial stands in. |
children? | ReactNode | — | The menu it opens: MenuItem, MenuSection and MenuSeparator elements. Without them it is a label. |
Keyboard
| Key | Does |
|---|---|
| Enter or Space or ArrowDown | Opens the menu on its first item |
| Escape | Closes the menu and returns focus |
Accessibility
- With a menu it is a menu button named by the app's name; without one it is plain text.
- The mark is decorative: the name beside it, kept for screen readers in the rail, says which app this is.
