A line of status in the sidebar's footer, such as whether live updates are connected. It renders a list item beside the footer's links. The rail hides it from sight, not from screen readers, so a live status is still announced.

Accessibility

  • No interaction of its own: it is static content, so there is nothing to operate by keyboard.
